Ragnarok

[Besides massive amounts of Echo the hedgehog it is said that the final sign of Ragnarok, or the nrose myth for the end of the world, will be the end of a three year winter. REalising that the only topics here I can post on are ones I start, I decided, why not shake the boat? To hell with caution. I'm going to create an rp that we can rp or characters in the 21'st century.

So here's the deal.

Three years of long harsh winters and short mild summers have pushed a lot of ecomentalists over the edge. Now much of the population fears global warming is going to destroy the planet. Our ocs have to survive the chaos and somehow maintain their sanity. I'll be using Marcus, Yoko and Echo. However, they may not be exactly as before. They've been changing a little bit ever sence the rps on ffn.

As always, you know me. I don't have to reiterate the obvious. Other than that......I'll see you there.]

Kale sighed. "I'm freezing my ass off here. What the hell is going on?"
A white fox next to him shook her head. "I dunno. It's been like this for so long... I don't like it." She shivered. "Kale, has anything been going on? With you, Anton, Psych and the rest?"
"Not really. It's too damn cold to do much. Not even many criminals are doing anything. Worse we get is petty crimes, and that's something the cops can handle..."

[I like it. End of the world will be an interesting situation to put my characters through.]

Marcus rolled up an a Trojan police car. They had volunteered to help keep the peace near station square. He was responding to a 911 call from a place called 'StarShine daycare'.

[I think that's what its called...]

Kale frowned. "Problem? Surely there's nothing happening that's so extreme you need my help."

[I think it's StarShine.]

Marcus got out of the car.

"Unfortnately no."

"Well what's happening?"

"Break in." He said, walking up to the door.

"What? Here? But... Come on, Kiera."
The white fox followed her husband into the daycare, sighing. "I wish we could have a kid."
"Not a chance, at least not yet... We've been over this. Anyway, we gotta help these guys." He turned to the officer. "Do you have any details? Time, what was stolen, et cetera?"

[One) never put my stuff into an rp without asking, kthnx. Two) yes, it's StarShine, which isn't even in Station Square. And three) ... I don't have any idea what to do or what's really going on. ]

[I'm not the one who put it in... But anyway, here's what I'm getting out of it: There's been a ridiculously long winter and no one knows why. Turn out it's the Norse version of the apocalypse. But no one knows it yet. So I'm guessing from where we're going it's just a petty crime, during the events of which something serious is going to happen.

But yeah, I forgot to mention it. Not cool, bro. Don't use others' stuff without permission or rely on them to join an RP to continue.]

But yeah. Winter has lasted 3 years. No one knows why. But a lot of global wamring people say that we have destroed the environment nd other people are aying that it is the end of 'Midguard' as told in norse legends. There is mass panic and mayem in some areas so international police organiations have formed to help ease tension on local police in cities. That's what Marcus and Yoko are in.]

A hedgecat glanced up, blinking when she saw so many people invade her business. She'd expected one guy, maybe two. Cops didn't generally respond to her calls...

"Um... Hello." She passed a young bat over to a brown squirrel. "Here, Kas, I'll take care of this. You get everyone settled for naptime."

She nodded, walking out. As strange as everything had been the past few years, their little daycare had continued on like clockwork. The kids were what mattered.

The hedgecat walked over, extended her hand. She figured that whoever was in charge would shake it. "Hi, I'm Star."

Kale shook it. "I'm Kale. I honestly have no idea what's going on; I was just passing by, but apparently there's been a break-in of some sort? I can probably help."

"Well, it's become a bit more escalated than that..."

"Explain. Has anyone been hurt?"

"Just the burglar..."

"Well that's good... I think. How is that escalated? Just normal self-defense, right? Nothing to worry 'bout."

Marcus and Yoko walked in, Marcus took a defencive position behind Kale.

"If you'll be so kind as to let me do my job sir." He said sternly.

"If you want to volunteer then put a call into the station." Yoko added.

Star blinked. Okay... So she'd just spilled everything to someone who wasn't even a cop. Great...

Marcus moved in front of Kale.

"If I may trouble you of telling me what happened?" He asked very polite.

Kale grumbled something under his breath and stepped out of the way.

Yoko walked by him, looking at him for a moment.

"Sorry, I... Well, someone tried to rob us and, well, they nearly got away, but one of my other worker's got back from her lunch break just in time, so..."

"You were...." He looked up from taking notes.

"Able to detain them?" He asked, surprised.

"Well... yes? He's upstairs, unconscious."
