Mani blinked, laughed lightly. "Well, I never said you can't come along. How can I deny that? I was just saying that things might be done a bit too quickly for you to enjoy yourself outside."

"She can spend the day with us!" Yue said, smiling brightly.

Shadow blinked, thinking he must have missd something. Usually she wanted sex when she did that randomly....

Echo thrusted harder.

"Keep swalowing." He moaned, before continuing to please to her soft wet flesh.

She smiled. "That's okay. I mean, I have my whole life. I just wanted to help you out if I could."

She did so, eagerly suckling and swallowing him as far into her mouth as she could.

Shadow watched, hoping Mani would insist. Star needed a life outside of this house.

Echo pulled out randomly and released on her face, laughing.

"Never tried it before." He said.

Mani smiled. "Oh, I would greatly appreciate the help. My process would be quick, but very taxing on me. Like my brother used to say: Many hands make light work."

Shadow nodded.

"See?"

"Okay." Her tail flicked. "Then let's go!"

Shadow walked over to the kitchen and withdrew some water.

[Some aercheologists belive that certain ancient greek civilizations had basic plumbing and running water in homes. But that technology was lost.]

"Yay!" The twins cheered, nearly jumping from their parents' arms.

"Easy, kiddo!" Sol said, adjusting his grip on Luna. "You two won't see her 'til later, anyway. You have no business seeing the mess of war, got it?"

"Aw..." Luna whined, but nodded.

Shadow chuckled.

"Do the children have powers?"

"Don't know." Sol shrugged. "But they already dodged one arrow by being born full-breeds; I don't think they can dodge another for some time."

"The kids know I bet." Shadow looked at them.

"Do you?"

Yue shook her head, shrinking back in her mother's arms slightly. He seemed nice, but that was still a very important person in the city. "Well... sometimes when it gets hot, there's a nice breeze to cool me down, even when we're inside."

"My cuts and scrapes heal kinda fast!" Luna said, obviously not as shy as her sister.

"When Echo finishes with Sunny perhaps he'll check you two about." He looked at Sol.

"That is if you don't mind waiting here for a while."

Luna blinked, looked up at Sol. "What does Lord Shadow mean by finishing with-"

"Don't worry about it," her father responded with a sigh. "Grown-up talk."

"And I'm not sure about that," Mani added. "Not that I'm not confident in the other healers' own skills, but I would feel better knowing the condition of things for myself."

"He's not going to heal them. He's going to copy their aura to see what powers they have. They're to young too fully develop them. But Echo's much more powerful and can simulate what your children will be able to do one day."

"Not Lord Echo," Mani clarified. "I'm talking about the healers attending to the wounded soldiers. I just want to make sure that everyone is at least in stable condition."

"If you need to go then go. I can stay here with Sol and the kids." He pushed Star forwards slightly, knowing she needed a bit of a push in situations like this.

The hedgecat smiled slightly. "Well... I'm ready to go whenever, I guess. Shadow, be nice to Sol." Her smile widened slightly when she looked to the girls. "I'll see you guys later too, I hope."

[what about sunny? lol]

Shadow nodded.

"See you later."

[Shit, lawl. Forgot them again]

She smiled. "Okay. Love you."

The dog blinked, looking up at him and laughing. "You idiot; now I need a bath!"

Mani smiled gently, setting Yue into Sol's arms. She gave each of her family a gantle kiss on their lips. "You all be good, okay? That goes double for you, Sol."

"What? I'm always good!" the hedgecat retorted, grinning mischievously.

"Sure you are," all three girls said simultaneously, causing Sol to snort a simple "whatever" under his breath, though he continued to smile. "See you all later," Mani said, making for the door.

Shadow sat down, inviting Sol to do so aswell.

Echo laughed.

"Right now or later?"

Giggling, Star waved and followed Mani out.

The dog lifted a brow. "Depends what you have planned for now."

Sol obliged, his daughters taking seats at his sides. "So how do we know when Lord Echo's done?" Luna asked eagerly.

Mani smiled at the hedgecat as they walked through the city streets. "Things are looking rather well, what with the recent laws passed. Funny. Just as we were contemplating leaving Troy."
