"Ain't so easy," Elesis said. "We've been doing this for decades; it's an addiction. It's like going trying to go cold turkey off crack, in one night. Nova and I just happen to have the worst luck, out of all of us."

Aurora looked at Sirius, grinning. "And it's genetic."

Pavo laughed. "I just learned to know better."

Akira waved. "Hey there, enjoying your new life?"

Damien shook his head, chuckling, "Good point."

Danny purred, nuzzling Dart. "Yes. Is that your mom, Akira?"

She nodded.

Katherine smiled, "Name's Katherine."

"Hi!" she greeted, smiling. "I'm Danny."

"Nice to meet you Danny."

Dart looked up, interested. "So, this is the Katherine, Cross made the replacement body for. An impressive piece of work."

"She's not some pet project, Dart," Cross said.

She raised an eyebrow, "Charming, nice to meet you, too."

Mani sighed. "You'll have to forgive Dart. He can be a bit blunt. Anyway, we worked really hard on her body, all those years ago. She's a miracle, is what she is, no different from Shine or even Akira."

Trip looked up from playing with his son, smiled. "Or Danny."

The cat blinked. "Mew?"

"Oh I'm used to blunt, we met a guy that was just as blunt several years ago. Nice guy, but absolutely no people skills whatsoever..."

"Indeed." Stated Damien with a nod.

The hedgefox smiled. "Yes, or even Danny. Anyway, there still should be plenty of food left, and Pavo, you really don't want me to warn you. Luna, you should know better."

Luna flinched, backing her hand away from another pancake. One thing Mani didn't mess around with was punishment. "...Yes, Mom."

And the last thing Pavo wanted to do was upset Mani, so he just held Luna close and smiled charmingly. "Yes'm."

"Joy, I'm starving! One's not allowed to eat much before a drop, for obvious reasons." Akira walked past and went about getting herself some food.

Damien shook his head and smirked. "Awful nice of you. Thanks." He followed his daughter. In turn being followed by Katherine.

"Don't mention it," Cross said. "We're rolling out at nine, so finish up what needs to, and get ready to move."

"Roger!" Shine chirped, going to grab another plate of food.

Armande sighed. "I'm sure we'll be ready."

Aurélie nodded. "Oui."

"Just tell us where, and I'll have the ship drop me off there." Stated Akira.

Damien nodded, "Hey Cross, hope you don't mind me sticking a few things in the skys for defence and observation..."

Nova looked over at his youngest son. He had the Akira - funny how he just noticed Damien and Katherine's daughter was named after that blade - and the enemy, this Henri, had the Teufel. He sighed, hoping nothing bad would happen to Armande, or Shine for that matter. There was no telling, with those cursed blades involved.

Cross nodded. "Just don't go overboard. Just like before, we're not trying to genocide anyone. And Akira, why go on those clunky soldier carriers - no offense, Damien - when we're flying first class?"

"Hey, twenty years ago we had missiles, now, we have sentinals. Cheap, easy to mass-produce, and rather deadly." He nodded at Katherine, and she opened the door, letting one in. Outside, five of them were circling the upgraded pelican. "I love these things, cool as hell and come in a rather large variety. This is the basic version, they get bigger." He grinned.

Akira shook her head, "That 'clunky soldier carrier' can actually defend itself from attack and besides, it's the diplomatic version. Cushioned seats and an open bar." She smirked. "Think first class, but far more personal and private."

"Well, we should 'ave first class to ourselves. It would be safer for what we will be discussing."

Sol placed a gentle hand over Mani's. He could feel the anger build in her, and felt a twinge of annoyance as well. Did they have to be better at virtually everything? And did they have to flaunt it all the time? "Also, it's a safe passage into the hands of our allies in Europe, so we won't have to deal with hostiles at all."

Star sighed. Humans were humans; they would never change. Danny didn't understand fully why her family looked briefly annoyed, or why Mani seemed upset. What had they done?

She laid her head on Dart's shoulder. "Mew?"

Dart sighed, stroked Danny's hair. "From the stories I heard, this group of humans seems to outdo them in just about everything. Not to mention the arrogance they show when flaunting their better works. It annoys everyone, especially Mani, who's had a rough past with humans."

"So... they brag a lot."
