Yue gently nuzzled the child in her arms: a newborn hedgefox boy, wrapped in a blue blanket... Her child. Happy tears flowed from her eyes at the sight of the child's gentle face. She loved him so much.

She looked up to the fox at her bedside, the man who was by her side for the last fifteen years or more. The man who was her loving husband. "...Well, Trip, you win," she spoke, her voice gentle, despite the incredible pain she had just endured. "You get to name your son."

He eased onto the bed, slid his arms around the hedgehog. He looked at the boy, awed. He had a son. A nothing like him had a son.

"Nathan," he whispered. "Nat." It had been his name when he'd been born, given to him by a woman who hadn't been around long enough to help him know it. But his original birth certificate had been found a few years ago, revealing the name of a child the fox barely remembered.

So he'd make it up to this next generation and give this child everything he'd had after being rescued.

"Nat..." She let the name soak in, smiled. "It's perfect." She looked up at the hedgecat and hedgefox-her parents-standing in a corner of the room. "Papa, Mama, thank you so much for supporting us, all these years. I don't know where I would be without you two."

Sol smirked, but turned away to wipe a tear. It wasn't easy playing the cool-headed father he used to be. Not at this moment. "...Don't mention it, kiddo. That's what parents are for, right?"

Mani, however, let the proud tears fall freely. "It was my sincerest pleasure to deliver your baby... Congratulations."

Trip smiled, nuzzled his wife gently. He looked over at his own parents, smiling. They'd saved him. First the hedgecat, then the echidna had come along. And they had given him everything. "I wouldn't even be here without you two, let alone this little guy. Thank you."

Star purred, her hand in her husband's. "Yay. I love you, sweetie."

He smiled. "Love you, too."

Cross smiled, gave a small salute with his free hand. "You've come a long way, Trip. Thank you for trusting me."

He smiled. "You didn't give me a reason not to, Dad."

"You get to be Dad now," Star pointed out and he grinned, reaching out to stroke his son's face with a fingertip.

"I know... It's... amazing."

Yue smiled, gazing down at her son. "He's an amazing little thing, he is. Mama, did you feel the same way about me."

"Of course I did, dear. Luna too. And Star felt the same way about Shine... Actually, she felt it more so."

Star smiled softly at the mention of her miracle baby. "Mmhm. But now I'm a grandma? I don't remember turning that old."

Trip laughed, wrapping his arms around his wife. "You're not," he assured her.

Yue laughed as well. "Relax, Auntie Star. Once you hit 21, you're that age forever! Auntie Elesis says that all the time."

Cross chuckled. "Trust me. That much is certain."

Trip laughed softly, nuzzling his wife. "I love you," he murmured.

She nuzzled back. "I love you, too. And I love our little bundle of joy."

"I love him, too."

The boy opened his eyes slightly - they were golden like his father's - and gurgled.

Four Years Later...

The golden-furred mutt plucked the camera from the young echidna's clutches. "Dad!"

"Lyra, I'm supposed to be taking pictures of you." He grinned. "That's how this works tonight."

She pouted. "But it's my new camera! I need to figure out how to work it!"

He grinned. "One more of the three of you. Then you can have it back."

She blinked, then scrambled off to find Luna and Dawn, her fellow graduates.

Comet grinned, glanced over at his wife. "That was easy. Do I really have to give this beauty back?"

The echidna woman smirked, placed a hand on her husband's shoulder. "Sorry, hon. That's her graduation gift, as promised. Don't worry. I hooked a little something up especially for you."

He grinned. "I knew there was something special about you."

"Y'know, I'm glad Star spilled the beans about you." She kissed him on the cheek.

He grinned wickedly, licking her lips. "Didn't stop you from experimenting, though, did it?"

She chuckled. "Hey, don't pretend you didn't like it."

His tail wagged. "The stories were hot, but, really, no three-way? Ever?"

She laughed. "Oh, now you got amnesia, huh? You don't need to fantasize, since you got to live it."

He grinned widely. "I was hoping you'd get it. I don't think Shadow'd mind that much."

She laughed. "Oh, I'm sure I could pull a few strings."

His tail wagged faster. "I love you, Elesis. You kinky, kinky girl."

She grinned. "I love you too, Comet. You pervy, pervy boy."

"Good." He wrapped his arms around her, pressed her close for a kiss.

She sank in, brought her leg up seductively.

"...You two done being a pair of pervs?" a young hedgehog asked, smirking. The collie next to her giggled.
