Comet stroked his wife's thigh, grinning. "Absolutely not."

"Dad, come on! Take the picture!"

"You know I hate poses." His thoughts went to a very private album he updated every chance he got, and he grinned wickedly at his wife. Most poses.

She gave a wicked grin back. As much as she loved them, she couldn't wait 'til the last of her kids was out the house. "Let's just get it over with," she said, prying herself off her husband.

"Don't worry," the hedgehog said. "You'll be rid of Lyra, soon enough."

"Thank God," father and daughter said in unison. He lined up the shot quickly, took one of the three of them mid-laughter. No one could pose while laughing. "Congrats, girls."

Smiling, he passed the camera over to his daughter. And, in some ways, it broke his heart. The last of his kids was leaving.

"Thanks a lot, Uncle Comet."

The concept of graduation just hit the collie. "Oh, my gosh, girls! We're graduates!"

"I know! Isn't it wild!"

Lyra smiled at the camera, then tackled her father, tail wagging. She had that much dog instinct in her. "I love you, Daddy!"

His baby girl... He gave her a squeeze. "Love you, too."

Elesis smiled, ruffled the girl's hair. "You take care of yourself, in the big world, okay?"

"I'm not moving out today! Dusk has to move his stuff around so I can get mine in his apartment." Her eyes rolled. "He's a mess, I swear."

Part of Comet worried about that - she was his baby, his only daughter - but still. He liked Dusk. "He'll be busy tomorrow, then. You're outta my house."

She hit him playfully, then hugged her mother. "I love you, Mom."

She hugged her back. "Love ya, Lyra."

"Um, Lyra?" The collie's face turned a little troubled. "I think Dusk is thinking about taking up bounty hunting. Y'know, continue the family thing."

The echidna blinked, then bolted off to find the wolf.

The hedgehog grumbled slightly. "Way to go, Dawn. That was a total mood-killer!"

"I'm sorry! I thought it was important! No one told me, 'Don't bring up your brother's possible plans, Dawn," so it's not like I knew it was a big secret!"

Comet just sighed. "Well, we'll see what happens..."

Across the building, she found him, and wasted no time in pouncing.

"Oof!" The wolf fell to the ground, the echidna safely cradled in his arms. He smirked. "Someone's happy about graduation."

"No! Well... yes. But..." She frowned. "Dawn said you're leaving."

"Leaving? What are talking about?"

"She said that you were going to leave to be a bounty hunter! You can stay and do that, can't you?"

"Bounty hu-" He scoffed. "She must've overheard my argument with Dad. I am not going in that crazy business."

She blinked, fused her mouth to his.

He laughed under the kiss, returned it.

"Can't keep your mouth off her, huh?" A pair of dogs smirked down at the couple.

Lyra glanced up. Her brother and his pet annoyance. She rolled her eyes, snuggling against the wolf. "For good reason."

The dog grinned. "Oh yeah, satisfyin' the girls wild desires is good enough reason."

"Shut up, Z!" Dusk said. "You're just mad cuz my sister hasn't satisfied yours."

The dog next to Zavier snickered. "He's got you there, man."

"Shut up, Si." He elbowed the dog in the gut. "It's called statutory rape. Ever heard of it?"

"She's only a month younger than me," Lyra pointed out. She doubted anyone would call him on it, not in their big extended circle of family and friends. They had all packed into Orion Tech for the graduation bash. "Besides, Dusk and me haven't even done anything." Yet. He had a lot of willpower, but she'd be eighteen in less than a week, so he would be all hers.

"You won't be sayin' that a week from now," Sirius mused smirking.

"Besides," Zavier said. "I don't mind waitin' 'til July, the hottest time of the year."

"Whoa, man," Dusk cut in. "That's still my sister."

"I know, I know. Besides, July's tour season. We're gonna be too busy with our music... Oh, yeah! Si, Aurora's still on for vocal's right?"

Sirius shrugged. "I dunno. She's been saying all kinds of stuff. I think she's backin' out."

"She can't!" Lyra protested, sitting up. "She's the only one of you idiot's that can sing worth a damn!"

"Hey!" Zavier said. "Ain't nothin' wrong with Dawn's singin'!"

"Well, yeah, but she plays drums," Dusk pointed out.

"I can cover her drums," Sirius defended.

"Yeah, for ten-seconds."

"...Dammit," both dogs said with a huff.

"Who's covering drums - what?" The cocker spaniel strode over and her stride was definitely one to be watched. Her fur was a shimmery, soft white, her eyes a deep, chocolate color. They could hypnotize the viewer.... There was little doubt that she'd inherited her mother's looks and they served her well - particularly since she'd also inherited her father's gambling streak.

She turned a liquefying smile on Sirius. "Hi, guys."

Lyra sighed. "Hello, busty goddess."

She laughed and still managed to be sexy about it. It was innate, something she had never needed to practice.
