Leon sighed when he saw that and tears began to form in his eyes too. This was all wrong, what the military was doing. "Those bastards will pay for this, I swear. I won't just let them get away with this..." he growled, fighting back the tears that came to his eyes from seeing her hurt like she was.

She whimpered softly, looking at him. "Thank you..."

"Don't thank me, thank Sunny for letting me get you the hell out..." Leon replied, looking at her.

She sighed. "Yeah..."

"I'm sorry that it had to come to this. Just be thankful that it wasn't your life that was taken just now thanks to those sons of bitches," he replied, sighing as he ran to the end of the other tunnel.

Sunny looked up when she heard them coming and smiled, closing off the tunnel. "Yo."

Cloud ran up and said, "Okay, yeah, they were after Dizzy. They tore up her place back there and were going to kill her if she had actually been there. It's a good thing we came for her when we did."

Leon looked down at Dizzy and then hugged her to him, feeling deeply sorry for her.

Sunny looked at the leopard, sighed. "Okay. Well, glad you thought of her, Leon."

Dizzy whimpered softly, clinging to the wolf.

"I think me and her should both be thankful to you for letting me go and get her," he replied, looking down at her and hugging her close.

Sunny shrugged. "She's my friend, so why not? Oh, Diz, this is Sophie."

Sophie peeked her head out and upon seeing the sad leopard, she waved shyly and a bit sadly before hiding herself in "Aunt" Sunny's fur. Cloud walked over and stroked Sophie's head before saying, "WE should see if we can get to Star and Riku."

"Hell yes!" Sunny looked up, eyes determined. "If they're not okay, I'm gonna kill something."

Dizzy sighed, nodding. "They should be fine."

"Can I just get Diz here to safety? I don't want to get her too far involved in all of this unless she wants to be, and it seems that she needs some rest..." Leon said, still holding Dizzy.

"Can I go with Leon? I don't wanna hear the scary gun noises anymore," Sophie whined, cringing. She was in deep fear right now.

"Of course you can." Sunny nuzzled the girl gently, betraying a soft nature she rarely showed. "Here." A new tunnel formed, creating a fork. "That'll come out to the old airfield."

Leon nodded and came forward as Sophie came out from Sunny and snuggled between Leon and Diz. She was doing something that she didn't know she was good at...bringing people together slowly...it was a natural magic around her.

Cloud said, "Let's go and make sure that the other two are alright."

Sunny nodded. "Yeah. Sophie, you be good."

Dizzy smiled slightly. "I bet she will be."
