"That... That's way fast..."

"Why do you ask? Are we having a girl down here?" he asked, rubbing her belly.

Cloud looked at her, and then let go...turning away. "...sorry," he said as he began to stand up.

"Maybe," she purred, nuzzling him.

"Whoa, hey, quit it." Sunny shifted, keeping him on the chair. "Look, I like you or I wouldn't have kissed you." He'd been through a lot, she reasoned, trying to organize what he'd said in a way that didn't make her heart dance. "So just chill out and stay there."

He looked rather hurt by what she had said, though, and said, "I'm sorry that I said that...that...I...I rushed...but that's honestly how I feel..." he looked really down now.

He knew that Star meant "Yes" probably with that and asked, "Celeste, Kristin, Krystal, Maya, there's a lot of eyecatching names in there for a girl."

Star smiled, purring. "Good."

"Look, I never said you were lying." Been through a lot, she reminded herself. "I just don't work as fast as you in this stuff." She smiled. "You're fine."

"Isn't it?" he asked her with a smile.

Cloud looked into her eyes and then he began to turn to the floor, when he then remembered something. "Aw shit," he muttered, remembering who the husband and wife were allied with...

Laughing, she began to lick his face.

Sunny's ears perked. "What?"

He began to lick her face out of his love for her.

Cloud stood up and said, "I need to get Sophie...hell, everyone out of here. The man and his wife that I killed were allied with a notorious gang, and they'll be hunting for me and Sophie. And they'll kill everyone here if they figured out that you were all involved with me...unless I killed them first."

But that was on the contrary. They were moving into position, yes, but they were faced with a single gunman. He was a gray furred wolf who was outfitted in ammo and guns, and was holding a TMP gun. "DOn't worry, Cloud, I'm here to cover your ass," he thought to himself.

Star laughed, hugging him.

"Look, I'm not light-weight," Sunny said. "I can handle anybody who shows up here."

Cloud turned to her and asked, "Can you handle twenty well trained gunmen, Sunny? Plus they're extremely tough." He had stood up, when gunfire began. But there was something unexpected. He ran to the window, looking down when he said, "Holy shit...Sunny, we're in such luck!"

Outside, they had opened fire on the lone gunman, but he had thrown a smoke grenade and had moved into a crouched postion and began to make precise shots, not even faltering when he got grazed or even hit by some of the bullets. Soon enough, everything went silent. The price probably was that all of the children had been scared awake, but they were completely safe. "Tough times, mother fuckers," the wolf said.

Riku's sharp ears caught the sound of distant gunfire and he froze. "That's coming from the...oh shit...THAT WAS COMING FROM THE DAYCARE!" he shouted, suddenly getting out of the bed.

Sunny had scrambled over to the wall and was watching with wide eyes and a grin. "Yes!"

Star sat up, blinked. "Mrow?!"

CLoud leaped out and called, "Leon! Just in time, huh?!"

Leon turned Cloud, holding one of the arms that a bullet had hit, and grinnned. "Just barely...I had seen them going after you, and figured that I should do something before many people were murdered. And hey, who's that sexy gal up there? You're girlfriend?"

At this, Cloud couldn't hide a slight blush and then sighed and said, "Not really...I don't think."

Riku said, "Gunfire, coming from the daycare! We need to go check and see if everything's alright!" he raced downstairs, coming back up with her clothes and tossing them to her as he began to get dressed.

Star grabbed her phone from her pocket, typing quickly as she dressed. 'R u ok? Wut hapnd?'

On her end, Sunny was grinning. "Yeah, you could call me that. Who're you?" When her cell phone went off, she quickly typed back, 'Ppl got their asses handed 2 them. Was osm!'

Star, receiving this, blew out a breath. "They're fine."

Cloud looked up at Sunny in surprise before the figure pulled out some tweezers, saying, "The name's Leon. Leon Scott Kennedy. Sent here for some reason by the military. They never stated why." He pulled out the bullet without even wincing and threw it aside.

Riku heard that and he sighed in relief, saying, "Well...now what? Go there and see what all happened? Or what? The police are definitely going to be there now that the gunfire has happened. We could stay naked with each other here, though."

Sunny took a step out the window and a section of the earth separated from the ground and rose up to meet her. It carried her down easily before returning to its place. "So hey. I got medical supplied inside."

Star laughed. "As appealing as that is, I need to find out what's going on." She zipped up her jeans, smiling.

Leon shrugged and said, "A few disinfectants and bandages will do fine for these kinds of wounds." Cloud smiled and said, "Acting all tough, as usual, eh?"

Leon rolled his eyes and said, "You know me. You may also know another person who's looking for you..." At that, Cloud froze, almost knowing what he meant just by the tone of how he said "friend".

Riku nodded and got all the way dressed and began to head down the stairs. he was hoping that everything was alright.

Sunny lifted a brow. "What's he talkin' about?"

Star followed him, frowning.

"One of my old commanders...he kind of went nutsy in the head and was kicked out...later supposedly killed," he muttered, and Leon said, "Right, but he doesn't know at all where you are. He's halfway across the world right now. Just stay low and you should be able to avoid him for the most part. The military is keeping a solid eye on him."

Riku got onto the motorcycle, gunning it, and then saying, "Climb on, sweetheart."

"That's something," Sunny muttered. "We're lucky all the kids went home... Oh! Sophie!" The dog bolted inside.

Star hopped on, hugged her husband close. "Go!"

Sophie was in her room, scared. She was looking around worriedly. Cloud had run after her, and she heard them scrambling up the stairs. Thinking that she was in danger, she got into hiding into a cloest, climbing up really high.

He gunned the engine and sped off...forty above the limit.

Sunny looked around the room, frowning. "Sophie? Hey, are you okay? Where are you?"

Star clung to him, worried.

Sophie recognized Sunny's voice and peered out to see just her before she said, "I'm in here."

Soon enough, Riku arrived and very quickly got off the bike, first noticing no one outside but the smoke and destruction at a building nearby.

"Hey, doll." Sunny reached up, plucking the girl from the closet. "That musta scared you bigtime."

Star, however, noticed the pile of bodies. "Oh my gosh..."

"Yeah, I was scared...I was too scared to even think of anything but hiding," she said.

Riku turned and said, "Were all of those guys...the guys that were all..." he headed towards them, looking at them. "Each one has been killed by a perfect shot to the brain."
