"I... I guess it's because I'm simple." She shrugged. "But I have my cafe, so it's all good."

"I could help you get out and see the sights at times, if you would want," he told her with a smile before leaning back and saying, "And yes, this cafe is a good business to have."

She smiled softly. "I wouldn't mind that."

"Then I could do that," he said with a smile. "Do you happen to know Sunny? Or Star? In that daycare?"

"Oh, yeah! They've been my friends for ages!"

"Cool. Well, I just met them...I don't like Star all that much...nor her husband...busy rejecting me after I helped save their establishment last night," he said.

She blinked. "But Star's the best! Sunny's usually snappy."

"I guess that they switched roles this time, because she didn't snap at me at all. Both her husband and her gave me the most distrustful looks ever and neither one of them thanked me, besides Star. She did heal me...which I thank her for, but that white cat...he was just nasty to me..." he said.

"Riku's mistrustful of just about everyone."

He thought about it and then said, "That's his name, then? Riku? Huh...I never knew that...interesting that he'd be with such a woman...that's not like him." he knew Riku from file records.

"What do you mean?"

"I read about him once in a military file," he explained and then said, "I didn't see him as a guy to fall in love or get married..."

Dizzy smiled. "Yeah... That only makes it more romantic."

"I guess...say, how much is a refill for this?" he asked, holding up his coffee cup.

"The whole container's yours." She lifted it and poured a bit into his mug.

He looked at it and then he said, "Cool." he then drank that bit before saying, "So what are your favorite hobbies?"

"I like to read, but mostly I just work. I'm always trying to come up with new flavors for the drinks I serve here. Most of them are a big hit."

"Cool," he said with a smile before saying, "Mostly I just work...I tend to play video games or compete in sports on time off. I also read a lot as well...who's your favorite author? Mine's Tom Clancy. He writes some of the best military and suspense books ever."

"Patrica Cornwall. Her books just fascinate me. What sort of sports do you play?"

"Basketball, Baseball, and Football, mainly. Those are the funnest," he told her. "Did you ever get to play any sports?"

"Softball and volleyball."

"Cool," he replied. "Those are fun to play...I just don't happen to play them too much," he commented. He knew how to play every single sport, even lacrosse.
