Cloud looked up and said, "Hi...thanks for taking me and Sophie here in." he stood up and went to a bathroomn.

She blinked at the abrupt exit, then looked at Sunny who just shrugged.

Bath water was heard running soon, as Cloud began to bath his niece to make sure she was washed up.

Star walked into the room. "Hey, there. Feeling okay?"

Sophie was staying quiet as Cloud made sure that she got clean, smiling as he shampooed her fur. He turned to Star and replied, "Yeah, I'm feeling alright. Why?"

[Hello?]

"Just making sure Mom's medicine worked." The hedgecat winked at the little girl, smiling.

[I was in class.]

The little girl smiled shyly and waved back at Star before giggling as her uncle began to wash her face and hair on her head.

Star smiled, sitting on the toilet lid. Her feet were starting to hurt from being on them all day. She rubbed her belly, glancing at it. As she'd discovered with her first, having a baby was, by turns, annoying and wonderful. "Sunny said you guys could stay here?"

"Yeah, she did, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea at this point. We might need to actually find a place to stay instead of here," Cloud commented.

"Why?" She fished a rubber fish out from beneath the sink and squeaked it before passing it to Sophie.

Sophie gave a squeal of delight at finding that it was given to her and then Cloud said, "Okay, now you just enjoy yourself in a bit." Cloud looked at her and said, "Because I'll cost you more money and so will Sophie...and you're already loaded down."

"Money's not an issue at all," she assured him. "And if you think for a second that I would kick that little girl out - or you, for that matter - than you must be crazy."

"I"m not saying that you wouldn't," he told her before looking at the girl, contentedly playing with her fish.

"Good." She smiled. "Cloud, you and Sophie are welcome to stay as long as you need. Sunny'll be here most of the time, anyway."

Cloud sighed and then said, "Alright, I'll keep that in mind."

Her smile widened. "'Kay." She turned her gaze back to Sophie. "Did you name the fish?"

"Name?" she asked her, surprised. She hadn't actually known that she could do that.

"Well, it's yours now." Star smiled. "You can name it anything you want."

"Well...um...I...uh...oh, I don't know!" she said before giggling and squeezing it again. "I might call it Angie!"

Star grinned. "Good choice." She rose and scratched behind the girl's ear. "When you get to bed, I'll bet Sunny has something else for you."

Cloud gave an odd stare at Star before looking away and then looking out a window.

She gave the fox a hug. "We take care of kids here all the time. It's natural. Anyway, once her bath's done, get some rest."

"Don't know if I can, considering what I did to save her...I had to murder two people in cold blood...that's not a very easy thing to do," he explained.

"I understand, but you should still try."
