Echo shook his head.

"We'll have to mak catching thme a domestic priority."

"Save you energy. Lord Hector's already taken care of at least that one group. In fact, he was the one that rescued us."

Echo nodded.

"Very good." Shadow looked behind them.

"What is helen doing on the battle field?" PAris looked and shrugged.

"She wanted to accompany us."

Sol blinked. "You weren't worried about her being killed? I mean, as far as I know, she's not like you, Lord Paris..."

"I can make other people imortal aswell." he told them.

His eyes grew wide. "Incredible..." Incredibly scary, he said in his mind. It was just as they feared...

"Yes I know. It especially helps while toturing her..." At least he doesnt realise the extent of his powers Shadow thought.

"Ugh. Whatever floats for you." He dealt with three years of "torture;" he was not in the mood to hear about it anytime soon.

"I think i'll go torutre her some more." He aid,walking twords a now grinning Helen.

Sol grumbled, shook his head. "Jeez, I wish I could be as horny as you guys."

"Most of what I said was just hot air." Echo mentioned. "He's the wierd one." Shadow nodded.

"How is Helen not pregnant right now?"

"He probably makes his sperm inactive."

"That's a useful ability, other weirdness aside. Anyway, Lord Shadow, you never said what you planned to do once this war's over."

Shadow sighed, thinking.

"I suppose I'll live quietly with Star and our kids. Maybe work to undo the damge done to half breeds. Nothing special really."

He raised an eyebrow. "I wouldn't call working to undo the damage done to half-breeds 'nothing special.' Shoot, I wasn't going to do anything special, just open up a little jewelry shop and watch my girls grow up."

"Well I meant as far as....you know. Overthrowing governments or changing the face of the earth.......you know. BIg....big stuff." Echo nodded.

"I, actually, think I might try some of that big stuff. Who knows. Maybe i'll take over a neighboring country or soemthing."

"That sounds a little like world conquest. I'm not looking to rule over anyone; I'm not much of a leader."

"Why not?" Echo asked.

"I dont know. We'll see after the war."

"Yeah." Sol reached into the basket at his feet, pulled out a pair of apples, tossed them to the two hedgehogs. "Catch!"

They did so.

"So...let's talk about the first time!" Echo said. Shadow hit him in the head.

"Im sure they dont want to."

Sol shrugged. "It doesn't really bother me. I mean, it happened in the past, so who cares? No way to go but forward, right?"

Echo nodded. Shadow rolled his eyes.

"ITs disrespectful."

"I've been through worse, in case you missed it. Or do I need to go into detail? Anyway, nobody said you had to share, Lord Shadow."

Shadow sighed and left, exploring what the rest of the people had found.

"Well, who goes first?" Echo asked.
