Mobitropolis - Lost Chaos Emerald

"I'm really sorry, Shadowin! I shouldn't have dropped it!"

Kara the Fox and her teacher, Shadowin the Hedgehog, moved along the busy sidewalk of a bustling Mobitropolis. Yes, there are many Mobitropolisess, for the world was named Mobius. This Mobitropilis, which will be shortened to 'the city', happened to be a city on water, with multiple canals replacing streets. Pedestrians lined the sidewalks.

Shadowin and her apprentice were here for one reason: While flying their ship, the Skymobile, Kara had carelessly been tossing the Chaos Emerald they had obtained a short while ago into the air repeatedly ( Shadowin was driving ). Without thinking, the fox had let it slip out of her fingers and plummet to the city below.

So now Shadowin and Kara ( wearing their matching hats ) were there. And they were completely prepared for anything that came their way on their quest.

A white and blue hedgehog came walking by, whistling to himself. This city reminded him of Venice. He eventually forun two odd creatures looking around anxiously for something.

"You two lovers lose a lover?" He laughed, walking by casually.

(( Oh, good! - sigh of relief - ))

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Kara asked angrily. Shadowin just shook her head and walked over to the white and blue hedgehog.

"Sire, may I ask if you've seen a Chaos Emerald in the vicinity?" she asked pleasantly, one hand on her hat.

He turned to the nicer of the two.

"I saw a shimmer of light falling from a cloud....and then....it was seen no more." He pointed up.

"It fell into the sky."

"That's preposterous!" Kara said. Shadowin nodded in agreement. However, she gestured to the largest tower in the city.

"My good sir!" Shadowin shouted over her shoulder as the started running to the tower. "May I have your name?"

"Echo the hedgehog." He told her, following with ease.

"It fell down into the sky then started flying up!"

"Could something up there be attracting Chaos Emeralds, Shadowin?" Kara asked in awe. Shadowin shook her head again.

"Let us just get up to that tower!" Shadowin said. "Echo the Hedgehog, do you feel like tagging along?"

Streets flashed by, colors and sounds nearly none-existent at the speed the three were running. Shadowin held onto her hat, though Kara's was held firmly in place by her larger ears.

"Sure." He laughed. "The chaos emeralds are a hoot. I was there when they were hewn you know."

"Sure... alright," Kara said. Shadowin merely sighed. They finally arrived at the tower and ascended to the top floor.

Peering through a pair of tourist binoculars, Shadowin gasped. "Kara! It's Nega!"

Out in the clouds, Eggman Nega's machine hovered. The obese man handled Shadowin's Emerald with care, then laughed.

"Kara, let's go!"

"Right!"

With that, the two sped away from the binoculars and down the stairs.

Echo stayed put.

"Echo?" Shadowin asked, pausing. "Sir, is something wrong?"

"Forget about him, Shadowin!" Kara said, tugging on her mentor's arm. "Nega is getting away and he has out Emerald! We'll find Echo later!"

"Kara, that is not how to properly behave in this situation," Shadowin stated firmly. Her apprentice huffed and turned away. "Echo, is Eggman Nega a problem for you?"

"Oh no." He said casually. "I have a plan."

"Shadowin has a plan alrea-- MFF!!"Shadowin clamped a hand over Kara's mouth and looked to Echo.

"What may that be, sir?" she asked.

He held up a hand and a clap of electricity surounded it. Suddenly he was holding a golden sword, a rapier. He pointed it at nega and slashed. a white slash mark appeared next to him ni the air.

"Come come." He said, stepping through it.

"Shadowin...?" Kara asked.

"Come, my girl. No use sitting around all day." With that, Shadowin and her apprentice stepped through.

Through the portal was like falling into Wonderland. They on a white sand beach with white water to their ankles. BEhind the beach wasth white ruins of a white civilization under a white skyline with a white palace in the distance. Echo walked onto the beach.

"One more time." He slashed again, making a rainbow looking portal.

"This one we have to step through all at once."

Shadowin picked up Kara, grabbed Echo's arm, and pulled them all through.

"Okaaaaay, where are we?" Kara asked.

They suddenly appeard on Nega's flagship.

"Gimme." Echo siad, putting his hand out. NEga scowled.

"GUARDS!!"

A hulking cat stepped into the room. "What is it, sir?" His eye caught the intruders. "What have we here?" He stepped over to them and scowled. "Unvelcome guests? On His Majesty's ship? How rude!" He cracked his knuckles. "I suggest you leave, NOW, or be pulverized by yours truly!" He spoke in a thick, intimidating Russian accent.

"How about option G?"

"C, Echo, C." With that, Shadowin leapt into the air and spun in a circle, aiming a kick at the large cat's chest.

Meanwhile, Kara snuck behind the doctor and grabbed the emerald. "Shadowin, I got it!"
