Leon sighed and said, "I'm sorry that I deposited bodies there, but he could have at least thanked me for saving the building, don't you think? Or anything like that. I feel like I did a service. Star tells me that I wasn't needed, as does that white cat, Riku, whatever he's called."

The hedgecat looked out just as Sunny was about to say something else. "Hey, come back inside. You should let me check those wounds over."

He turned to her and said, "I'm sure they're fine, miss."

Riku wondered what Star was doing now at this piont.

"Well, come on in anyway. It's the least I can do."

Leon sighed and then began to walk in. Riku was about to open his mouth in protest to that, not liking Leon at all, but a cold glare from Cloud stopped him.

Star sat him down in a chair and began running her fingers through his fur. "You have some grazes, but nothing really bad. I'll just give you something to close off the worst of it and stave off infection."

Leon looked at her and then commented, "A moment ago, you weren't pleased with my actions. Now you're actually helping me..."

"I may not like that you killed a bunch of people in front of my daycare, but you had good intentions." She slid a needle into his arm. "So thanks."

"I just don't know what else I was supposed to do..." he told her, and then commented, "I also didn't realize that this was a daycare."

"Well, all the kids were gone but Sophie here. So no harm done, all in all."

"I guess not..." Leon replied with a sigh. Riku shrugged, giving up on it this time, and said, "Star, I'll be waiting by the motorcycle."

"No, hang on, I'm on my way." She handed the empty syringe to Sunny, who nodded. Star smiled. "Bye, you guys."

Riku headed out the door and then Cloud said, "Bye..." Leon just nodded and said, "Thanks."

Smiling, Star followed her husband out. Sunny bounced Sophie on her hip, grinning. "So how ya feeling, kid?"

Riku gunned the motor and waited with a little bit of eagerness for his wife to come out.

Sophie hugged her tightly and replied, "Scared, but okay!"

Star swung onto the bike, nuzzling her husband fondly. "I guess there wasn't really any reason for us to get out of bed."

"Cool. But there's nothin' to be scared of, okay? You got us here and we'll make sure you're okay."

"Let's go back...and then go back from where we left off, shall we?" he asked her with a smile.

The hedgecat laughed, pressing close. "Good idea."

Sunny smiled. "You really have to be the smartest little kid I've ever seen."

He turned out the driveway and began to head back to their home.

Cloud smiled at her and said, "I think that she is too." Sophie only blushed and hid her face in Sunny's chest.

When they got back, Star began walking inside, her tail slipping inside Riku's pants.

The dog laughed, fondly snuggling the girl.

He smirked and took off all of his clothes again before going to strip her again to get them naked.

Cloud smiled at the two, almost imagining Sunny as her mother. And that drew a slight frown onto his face and made him turn away.

Laughing, she helped him undress her before running her tongue along his neck.

"All right, kiddo, the excitement's over for now. Let's get you back to bed."
