Later, a cool twelve million deposited in her account, she was in the wolf's wine cellar. He had a nice house from what she'd seen.

Aurélie swirled her glass and took a sip. "Mm... Very nice."

"Usually, I wrap up my job early," he explained, swirling a glass in his own hand. "That's when I go wine huntin'."

"My apologies for upsetting your routine," she mused.

"Don't sweat it. I've pretty much combed this city, anyway." A smirk crossed his features. "I want you to try something special." Setting his glass down, he fished out a box from a cluttered corner. From inside, he pulled a wine bottle, covered in a worn towel.

"This one, I'm particularily proud of. Found it a couple of months ago, in a little village outside of Venice. Bartered it for bringin' in a rapist who was hiding out there." Unwrapping it from the towel, it was revealed to be a Chardonnay, unlike any other just on looks alone.

She walked over and touched the bottle, smile going soft. "C'est stupéfiant... It is very well-aged."

"I could barely look at it, let alone open it, it was so incroyable. Et maintenant, you have the pleasure of doing so, Madmoiselle." He fully handed her the bottle, his heart racing.

She gazed at the bottle, stroking her fingers over the label reverently. "C'est absolument incroyable..." She turned her smile on him. "Merci. I am honored." She popped out the cork, breathed in the aroma. "C'est magnifique..."

Nova allowed the alluring scent to fill his own nose. "Fantasique... I knew it would be great, but this..."

With a laugh, Aurélie lifted the bottle and poured a bit into their empty glasses. "Let us 'ope the taste lives up to the scent."

"Guess that's all we can do, at this point." He lifted his glass in a toast. "Cheers."

"Santé," she agreed, clinking her glass to his before drinking.

He took a sip from his own glass, savoring the taste for a moment.

She smiled, swirling the remaining liquid in her glass. "It is wonderful," she cooed.

"Amazing," he agreed with a content sigh.

She set her glass aside and walked up to him, trailing her fingers over his chest. "Let's see if the taste is also good for... other situations." She slid her tongue over his lips, taking in his taste and a hint of the drink. "Mm... Not bad."

He set his own glass aside, wrapping his arm around her waist. "So, ready to start... experimenting?"

She smiled. "Oui."

"Et ainsi nous serons." With that, he drew her into a passionate kiss.

She wrapped her arms around him, lips parting.

His own lips parted, his tongue dancing with hers.

She could taste the drink on his tongue, mixing with his natural flavors. It was intoxicating. She drew back. "Tell me, Nova. 'Ave you ever made love in 'ere?"

"Can't say that I have. I'm usually abroad in my encounters." Her natural tastes, plus the well-aged Chardonnay... It was incredible, unlike anything he ever tasted before.
