She pressed close. "Don't be mad..."

She nodded, nuzzling him. "Sure."

"I'm not. I just hope you aren't either."

Echo stood up with sunny still on him and opened the door to see the two with their clothes half taken off.

"Woah......."

Mortified to be caught in the position, Star blushed brightly, pressing her face into his chest. "Oh, no..."

Sunny only blinked, brought a hand up to cover her eyes. Their business, not hers.

Echo turned around.

Shadow quickly recovered her then him with their clothes.

"What is it?"

"Im the principal now. This school just went co-ed....the usual."

Star pressed close to Shadow, still blushing. It may have been co-ed, but she would still be unable to go...

Shadow sat upright.

"What about Star?"

"Don't be selfish. One miracle at a time. That's how we roll." Shadow furrowed his brow in thought.

"She could live here from now on."

"I'll allow that."

"Private tutor?"

"Who? You? Wouldn't work. You'd spend all your time working on anatomy and never get anythign else done."

Her blush somehow brightened and she trembled. She wasn't a whore...

Shadow noticed Star shivering.

"Echo. Lay off the jokes." He said sternly. Echo put up his hands.

"Fine Fien...its not like Sunny and I weren't doing the same thing."

Sunny punched him in the shoulder. "They don't need to know that!"

Echo rubbed it.

"Sorry."

Shadow stood up.

"It's getting late. Shall we go home?"

[I still have one more surprise...]

Star kept close to him. She didn't want to leave him yet, but nodded. "Yeah."

Sunny sighed. "Good idea."

Shadow noticed Star's reluctance.

"You want me to stay here?" He asked quietly.

Echo took Sunny's hand and began walking.

"Yes, but... Won't you get in trouble?"

She went with him, sighing.

"They wont care. Besides, there's food here."

"Something wrong?"

She pressed close, hugging him. "Then I really want you to stay with me." She hated always being alone...

"Just worried about Star..."

Shadow closed his eyes and held her.

"Don't worry. Shadow'll keep her safe."

[timsekip a few hours]

Echo flopped on his bed.

"The food here always stank huh?"

"Only one bed...." Shadow said.

"You dont mind sharing do you?"

She fell onto the bed beside him, smiling. "Better than nothing."

She smiled shyly, shaking her head. "No."

Echo put an arm around her.

"Yeah."

"Good." He took her hand and guided her on the bed next to him.

She nuzzled him, smiling. "You okay with me staying here?"

The hedgecat snuggled close, purring softly. "I love you."

"Of course." He smiled, then yawned.

Shadow held her firmly against hsi chest.

"I love you too."

"Good." She fell asleep quickly, smiling.

Star continued to purr, smiling at him.

Shadow kissed her on the lips as they fell asleep in each other's arms.

Echo was floating in a cristal lake looking up at the sky. He was on his back just starring up at it...something was wrong. He looked around at the area. There was a forrest and a clearing.....and a boat at the dock......but it was wrong. Something was wrong. He began o float upright when he looked at the sky again.

It was white.

Where was the blue? He looked around and began to call for Sunny for some reason...he didnt know why.

Shadow was walking through darkness. He didn't know why or how he got there. He stopped and looked around. There was nothing. NO sound. NO light...IT was like a cave.

Just as he thought that he felt the rough rocky terrain around him and the driping of water. This was wierd. He called out to Star, knowing not why.
