Sunny smirked. "Star, you love Cross?"

"You want him to be Trip's dad?"

She purred, nuzzling the echidna. "Yes."

"You wanna marry him?"

"If he'd get around to asking, yes."

Cross blinked, mouth hanging open. He then chuckled, shaking his head. "I shoulda known. All right, all right, just give me a minute." Working his magnetic magic, the helmet came off his head, and found it's way into Sol's hands. Said hedgecat gave the echidna an encouraging thumbs-up, to which Cross smiled at.

Cross turned his smile back onto Star. "Star... will you marry me?"

"Hmm..." She put a finger to her lips, as if she were thinking about it. She then shook her head. "...Nah. It's okay, coming from you."

"Mon coeur, the only thing I would change about you is your gambling."

"After I see Trip," she said, pressing her lips to his.

His smile turned shy. "Okay. 'Cause you really are."

He was about to retort, but stopped, chuckled. "Yeah, can't argue with that. I have my days, though."

He sank into the kiss, body feeling lighter in that moment.

She giggled shyly. "I guess so." She then smirked. "You're pretty easy on the eyes, yourself."

"They are few and far between." She licked his cheek fondly. "Je t'aime."

Star purred, lapping at his lips eagerly.

Sunny mimed a gag.

His eyes widened, blush appearing. "I... I..."

He smiled at her. "I love you, too. Maybe I'll cut back a little."

He smirked, lips parting for a brief moment.

She laughed. "Just teasing! I picked up that line from Elesis."

"Bonne."

She broke through, tongue searching for his.

His blush remained in place. "Well... um..."

Nova glanced behind him, his eye catching Cross, and Star. He chuckled. "Looks like Cross finally confessed."

His tongue surfaced, dancing with Star's.

"Oh, lighten up, Trip! It's not like I'm saying 'I love you' or anything." For a moment, that stuck in her head. She did seem to feel something special for him... Eh, that's probably how friends feel about each other.

Aurélie smiled slightly. "It is about time."

She purred, clinging to him. He made her head swim in an entirely different way... One she liked much better...

"I just... never had a girl say that before..."

Kane smiled as well. "I did so, already. It 'as been so long since I 'ave seen 'er..."

"And now, she's in your arms, huh?"

"So it would seem."

He pressed her against him, savoring her purring to the fullest.

Star broke the kiss to lick his face, the purr continuing.

Trip shook his head, blush deepening. "Girls usually think I'm... weird." His tails twined together uneasily.

"I 'ope so." He glanced at the scar on her chest-even through her thick coat of fur, it was visible. He hated it. "...Zut. I was too slow..."

He sighed softly, nuzzling her. "I've waited a bit too long to say that."

She frowned. "Because of your tails? Hmph. They're just jealous, because you have a gift that they'll never have. I think it's cool, personally."

"What 'appened?"

Overhearing Kane, Sunny looked from them to Star, frowning. "Star, did they do anything to you besides the serum?"

"...Almost."

Cross sighed, another heavy burden leaving his chest. "Thank God. I didn't think I'd make it in time. Were you protected?"

She smiled. "But you can, though! That's awesome!"

"Mmhm. By that collie. Elle s'appelle Aurore. I like her." She licked his neck softly. "I don't want to think about it," she mused. "I'd rather have..." Smiling, she whispered a position that seemed to be anatomically impossible.

He hugged her, still blushing. "Yeah..."

He blushed, mouth hanging open. He laughed. "Well, okay, but I gotta warn you: those barracks aren't exactly comfortable."

Nova laughed. "He's still gotta work on that poker face!"

She hugged him back, smiling through her own blush. "You should have more confidence in yourself. You really are a great person."

She purred. "That's okay."

Sunny smirked. "I'll say."

He smiled. "You think so?"

He nuzzled her. "I guess we'll be talking wedding plans, after all this."
