"...Okay, Nat," Yue said, looking down at her son with a small smile. "I think you've done enough exploring today."

He looked up. "Okay..."

The heavy explosive flew upwards a certain height, then headed straight for the roof of the house and detonated on impact with the roof, exploding in a brilliant flash of highly concentrated energy packed into a VW bug-sized sphere that vanished as quickly as it appeared, leaving nothing behind and putting a sizable hole in the roof.

"I coulda sworn I turned on the safety..." She slapped her hand to her faceplate, shutting her eyes and groaning, "...My CO's gonna kill me..."

Aurora was the first out and looked up. "That is the coolest thing ever!"

Cross looked up at the roof of his tech shop, sighed. "Well, it was bound to happen eventually."

Yue smiled slightly. "Well, it didn't cause too much damage. And yeah, Aurora, it was kinda cool."

Without warning, she pounced on her father. "I was looking for you!" She licked his face happily, tail wagging.

Nova laughed, took a stronger stance once he was steadied. "Easy, girl! You ain't no little puffball, no more!"

She laughed, hugging him tightly. "I finally made a decision!"

Aurélie smiled. "Did you? Are you staying with the band?"

"Yes!"

Her smile widened and she wandered inside. Elesis owed her bigtime.

She shook her head, "Better anti-personel than anti-fortification. That one's a doozy." She sighed, "Shame no one will let me use those rounds anymore since the last time I accidently blew up a Mk. 5 Vulture..." She winced at the thought. "Made a nice boom, though..." She walked over to the pod and removed the launcher, handgun, and battle rifle, all sporting new and more advanced looks, and attached them to her armor while shouldering the rifle.

"Really? That's great!" Nova hugged his daughter, nuzzled her. That was a big worry off his chest. "I can't wait to hear your beautiful voice on tour!"

Cross frowned slightly at the human. Yup, this was definitely Damien's little girl. "Look, no offense, but I hope you've got somewhere to store that stuff. We're in the middle of a graduation party-completely safe and weapon-free."

Aurora smiled widely, tail wagging. "Come on, Cross, you know Mom's covered with weapons!"

"Hey, I was planning on keeping them in the pod, but Nat here just showed me that's impossible."

Cross turned to the dog. "Aurora, her weapons don't 'go boom.'" He then turned back to Akira. "As for you, Aki-mind if I call you Aki?-I have somewhere where all that stuff will be nice and safe."

She shook her head, "Tempting, kind, and I thank you for the offer, but unfortunately, no. Security protocals and all that hoo-ha." She attached the rifle to her back as well. "Sorry Cross, but we don't let non SS personel handle our weapons, especially those that have the ability to reverse-engineer this tech..."

"Can I see where you woulda hid them?!" Nat asked.

"No." Star laughed, scooping him up. "I'm gonna borrow you for a while."

He blinked. "Yay!"

He rolled his eyes. "I'm the one that started advancements on half that tech, before you were even thought of."

Yue smiled. "You take care of him, okay Auntie Star?"

She giggled, "Actually, it's more along the lines of a 50th at best. You helped, but not as much as you think."

She turned him upside-down and held him by the ankles. "That just means keep him breathing, right?"

He grinned at his parents, tails flicking happily. Trip laughed. "That works."

His eyes narrowed. Arrogant little punk, just like her father... "Do what you will. Just watch out for Zavier and Sirius. You'll know them when they see you, and yes, I said that right."

Yue giggled. "Well, don't push it. I'd like grandchildren one day."

"No," Star assured her, purring. "You don't. They're hellions. Cross, be nice to the human."

"I am being nice. I didn't have to warm her about that wild duo. Make yourself comfortable, not a single gunshot or otherwise weapons discharge." With that, he started back for the building.

She grinned, Dad was right, these people are entertaining...

Star bolted in carrying a giggling Nat in her hands and an annoyed yellow labrador wandered out a moment later, glanced up. "Nova, what the fuck is that?" Then she looked to the human. "Fuck. Damien and Katherine had a brat?"

"And I even love high explosive weapons to the point of being banned from anti-fortification class weaponwry to boot!" She stated, as if proud of the fact, which was probably true...

Nova sighed. Another one that suffers from "Blow-Shit-Up Syndrome". As if Zavier and Sirius weren't enough... "You break it, you fix it or buy it. That's all I'm sayin'." With that, he guided his daughter back inside. "Got us a new skylight," he said as he passed Sunny.
