Comet grinned. "You'd better."

Sirius scoffed. "Whatever!"

Sol chuckled. "So, anyway, that's 14 of us going to Europe. The rest are staying behind."

"That should be enough," Aurélie announced, nodding. She was glad that two of her children were coming along, would've been happier if all three were. But Danny's place was here for now and she was all right with him staying by her side. "We will be leaving within the hour."

Nova sighed, sinking into his chair. "I got weird feeling, like this isn't gonna be some little day trip."

"Oh, relax, Nova!" Elesis said. "What are you afraid of? Gonna miss out on the birth of Dart's kid?"

"Very amusing, Elesis," Dart responded, his normal bored expression in place.

Danny purred, snuggling close to him. She hoped it didn't take that long.

Aurélie sighed, looked out the window. She agreed with Nova; she doubted this would be over quickly.

Sol sighed. He, along with just about everyone else had that same feeling. "...Regardless of how long it takes, we can't lose... No. We won't lose."

"Indeed."

Star smiled. "I have faith in you guys."

Cross nodded. "We'll be rooting for you guys."

"Thanks, bro..." The hedgecat laughed. "Well, I guess I actually can call you bro, huh?"

The echidna grinned. "Yeah, I guess so."

Two roars punctuated the air and were quickly followed by two distinct crashes as two HEVs slammed into the front lawn. Only a moment laugh before a male's laughter could be heard.

"Been too damn long!" Damien, of course.

His statement was followed by another, femine laugh, Akira. "Looks like we ruined the lawn...again."

"At least I didn't blow a hole in the roof."

"That was an accident!"

"Riiiight..."

At the force of the impact, Cross knew exactly who it was, grumbled. "I'm getting a little annoyed at this." He walked out the front door, strolled up to the familiar humans. "What happened to the old days, when you would just roll up in a warthog?"

"I found out that destroying your property is oddly hilarious."

"You weren't laughing when you heard I blew a hole in his roof."

"Purposly destroying your property is oddly hilarious."

Cross sent a bored stare at Damien. "All right, then. You can pay to have my lawn fixed."

"Who should I send the money to?" He countered with his signiture smart-ass grin.

Akira laughed and shook her head, pulling off her helmet, "Anyways, did we miss anything?"

"Just breakfast. We'll be heading to Europe in about an hour. And you can bill it to Nova: thirty thousand per divot."

"We'll send him a check, but anyways, do you folk have a means to travel to your destination, or do you require a taxi?"

"Those were the olden days," Star mused, having followed the echidna. "Hi, guys!"

"We have transit, this time. Well, at least they do. I'm sitting this trip out."

"Hey Star, anything new that your husband left out you wish to share?" He glanced back over to Cross, "Hope you don't mind if I stick with you this time, eh? Ship's nice and all, but I need to walk on a planet every couple months or so." He said with a chuckle.

"You enjoy your vacation, I plan on going with the others to help."

"Shut up, fights like these don't play by the rules."

"Neither do we." She replied with a smirk.

"Maybe. Sticking around here may mean seeing some action. Is Katherine coming down, too?"

One of the new pelicans landed behind the two humans and dropped off Katherine.

"Nah, she decided to sit back and watch." Replied Damien, sarcasm laced into his voice.

She laughed slightly as she walked over. "Been a while."

"Shut up," she muttered. "She didn't land with you guys and you didn't mention her. Logical question."

Cross smiled. "All the same, it's good to see you again, Katherine. I trust the body's working just fine for you."

Both grinned.

"Oh hell yeah." Replied Damien.

Akira just rolled her eyes, muttering, "Janitors hate them...so much..."

"I'm kind of surprised they only have you, Akira." She grinned.

"Well, we only had Shine," Cross pointed out, smirking.
