Dawn laughed sheepishly, blushing. "Um, sorry for keeping you guys up?"

"No harm, no foul. One thing's for sure, you know how to get a girl in the mood."

Yue cleared her throat. "Can we please drop the subject? I'd rather not have my kids hearing this."

"We're not saying anything outright," Sunny pointed out.

Trip shook his head. "But we all know Nat's trying to figure it out."

And the boy's brow certainly was furrowed in curiosity. "Again what?" he asked.

"Nothin', shortstop."

Zavier sighed, smirked. "Still, at least now I know to-"

"Now Zavier, I know Yue doesn't have to tell you again, right?" It was Mani, smiling behind her gentle, yet icy voice.

"...Pfft. You ain't my mom." He left it at that, though. Next to his own mom... actually, she might've been worse - Mani was the lead enforcer around. Like the rest of the kids, he knew not to mess with her.

Nat, though, was thrilled to see her. Even when she was mad, he just loved her. "Grandmama! Hi!"

The hedgefox turned a genuine smile on Nat. "And how's my favorite grandson doing today?"

His ears perked. "I'm still your favorite?!"

"Oh, don't get me wrong, I love all of my grandbabies equally. But since I've known you for a little longer... So, why don't you come and give your Grandmama a hug?"

Grinning, he bounded over to happily do so. His tails twirled to get him high enough to wrap his arms around her neck.

Star grinned. As independent as he seemed, Nat was still a baby.

Mani smiled, wrapped her arms around the boy. Sol came over, ruffled the boy's hair. "Hey. Who said you could grow up on us, huh?"

He smiled. "Grandma."

"Liar," Star mused, getting a jug of juice from the fridge to pour herself a glass. "I would never. It was probably Cross."

"Don't look at me," Cross mused, taking a swig of his coffee. "I bet Sol did it."

"Ha! I'm trying to stay young, thank you very much. Try Yue."

"Traitor," she mused. "Trip! Papa told on me!"

He smiled. "Your fault for saying he could grow up. I liked the baby who slept all the time."

"Do you like me now?" he asked, ears perked.

"Nah. I love you too much to like you."

Nat laughed, nuzzling Mani. "Dad's weird."

"Then by fault, you are, kiddo," Elesis mused.

"Oh, like you're innocent," Yue countered.

Mani laughed. "Well, I wouldn't have it any other way."

"If we are not all used to being surrounded by weird people, something is very wrong with us." Aurélie wandered in, sauntered to Donny and took her. She'd never had a grandchild, had never expected to have one. This group of weird people had changed... everything.

Donny gazed at the spaniel and her tail started to wag. She mewed, tongue flicking.

Dart chuckled. "That much is certain. And I think you would make a fine grand-mère."

"So do I." Danny smiled. Aurélie, like everyone else, had always been nice to her.

"Merci," she murmured, nuzzling her granddaughter.

"Oh, that reminds me, Papa," Yue said. "Your grandson is just like you."

"Is that so?" The elder hedgecat strode over to baby Sol, picked him up. The baby, who was awake from all the noise earlier, sniffed the man before mewing gently. When he received a mew back, he purred, licking him.

"Yup!" Sol said, laughing. "Definitely a lot like me."

Baby Star, who'd given up on sleep, huffed. "Little drama queen," Star decided, walking over to lift the baby. "Come on now, you have to live up to our name, pretty girl."

She licked her grandmother, purring.

Sunny snorted. "Drama queen suits, then." And she was bobbed on the head by the hedgecat's tail.

Cross chuckled, looked up to the ceiling. "I'm surprised Luna and Pavo aren't down yet, especially with breakfast going. Those two must be really out of it."

"Or really into it," Briggs said, snickering, and was knocked on the head by Sol.

"Watch what you say about my daughter."

"She ain't a little girl no more; deal."

Trip shook his head. What a horny family... He smiled at his wife, took her hand. He loved it.

Yue smiled at Trip, gave his hand a fond squeeze. "It's good to know we aren't as bad as the rest, right?"

"Liar!" Luna strolled in, smirking. "Sorry we're late. Just got out of a long shower."

Briggs grinned. "Told ya, Sol."

"...You better be lucky I've got my grandson in my arms."

Danny smiled at Dart, eyes just slightly wicked. She could hardly wait until they could have sex again. She missed showering with him.

Pavo, his usual lazy smile on his face, sat down. "Not much beats a nice shower."

Dart caught Danny's eyes, smirked. He knew where her mind had wandered, and felt the urge himself. After breakfast, they were gonna "take a shower," he decided.

"Except maybe a nice breakfast," Luna added, sitting down, pulling a couple of plates toward them.

The cat's eyes lit. He was thinking about it, she knew. Yay!

"Mind reader." He nuzzled her softly.

"Don't eat it all," Comet advised.

"Just try and stop us!"

"Don't eat it all, okay?" Mani said.
