Akira walked back, "Hey, dad's in the loop now. The bases are going up on combat alert and he'll be on the look-out for anything suspicious..."

Aurora picked up speed, half dragging Sirius now.

She followed, purring softly. "You're taking me with you?" So many new people and she hadn't even gotten permission to talk to them! It was so exciting and, even if this was the dog, she wasn't finished - she didn't need to follow the orders.

"Whoa!" Sirius picked up speed to keep up with the bounding dog.

"Hey, guys!" Dawn said, looking at her phone. "Update: We're headed back to the convoy, now!"

"Got it! Make a lane! Superstar band, comin' through!" Zavier's shout received immediate response, as all the people in front of them cleared a path to the exit.

Their group reached the parking lot, the area where their convoy of vehicles, including The Hunt's tour bus, was settled. Already, several people of the group were waiting. "What's going on?" Dusk asked, holding Lyra gently in his arms.

Pavo frowned, grabbing Luna's hands. "What is it?"

Aurora and the other three were out a moment later, the dog's eyes were wide and zoomed in on her brother and the human. "What happened?! Who did you kill? And..." She blinked, catching sight of the cat. She was pretty and her eyes were shy. They were so... golden, they were almost frightening. Even Trip's weren't that bright.

"Hi!" she greeted, bouncing over and hugging the stranger.

Danny blinked, then hugged back, purring. She'd always liked hugs, but hadn't gotten one in years. "Hello," she greeted.

Luna smiled. "This is Danny. She's gonna be coming with us."

"Sorry?" Dawn asked. "Why?"

"Because we feel the need to bring her along," Shine explained.

"That ain't gonna fly," Zavier protested. "I like girls and all, but I don't just randomly pick up strangers, unless there's a damn good reason behind it."

Aurora drew back but left an arm around her waist, smiling at the cat. "I like her! Can that be a good enough reason?"

"You give very good hugs."

"I like her more!" Her tail wagged happily.

Sunny shook her head. "Z, decision's been made. Deal. Now can everybody get in their damn cars before the police show?"

"Police?" Zavier asked incredulously.

"We got in a scuffle, all right?" Shine, growing impatient, hopped in her car, followed by Luna. "So, who she gonna ride with?"

"It doesn't matter," Dusk said, bringing Lyra over to Shine's car. The band had already started Zavier and Dawn had already climbed onto the bus "There's room in all of 'em."

"With us!" Aurora grabbed the cat's hand and led her into the bus with the band.

Danny smiled softly. "Thank you."

"No problem!" Her tail wagged. "I'm Aurora!"

"My name's Danny."

"Hey!" Luna said. "I was friends with her, first!"

"Luna," Dusk said. "This is Aurora we're talking about."

She grumbled. "Good point..."

Sirius was already tailing after the two. She sure was a peppy one, that Aurora. One of the reasons he loved her.

But Danny felt bad after Luna's protest and looked back. She was just going where she was led, but... "Um..."

Aurora stopped. "Aww! You're sweet!" She hugged the cat, grinning. "She doesn't want to leave you alone, Luna!"

Akira smirked and shook her head as she climbed into the flatbed warthog, the gun having been removed for obvious reasons, and turned it on, the deep rumbled of massive military vehicle's engine bringing a smirk to her face. I love these things...

Luna smiled. "Well, we've got plenty of room! Shine's got an 8-seater! C'mon! You too, Pavo!"

The dog smiled. "Okay. Just let me grab something out of my bag." A minute of digging and he retrieved a sketch book, went over to Shine's van. If he was lucky, he'd be able to capture those strange eyes somehow.

Aurora helped Danny in, practically shoving her. But the cat was still purring. "I've never had an adventure before. Is this what it's like?"

Her tail wagged. "Sort of."

Luna grinned from her seat. "If this is as real as we think it is, you've barely touched the surface. You're in for one wild ride!"

"Real?" Danny repeated. "That's slang?"

"It confuses my brother, too."

"Armande."

She grinned widely. "Yup!"

"So, what's goin' on, Aurora?" Shine asked, smiling slightly. It was always good to have an adventure. "You jumpin' in, or you gonna stick with the band?"

"Mm... I'll go with you! I can make out with Sirius later!" She hopped in, grinning.

Pavo smiled, flipping to a blank page of his sketchbook. To warm up - and because she was his favorite to draw - he first sketched out Luna.

Smiling, Shine turned the key in the ignition, and the van roared to life. "Hey, Sunny!" she called out the window. "Where are we headed?"

"Just get back to the hotel for now. Take different routes." She shut the door, making sure they were all inside. "Now get outta here."

"You got it! See ya there!" She pulled the vehicle into gear, and took off. Soon after, the bus roared to life as well.

Akira let out a whoop as she pealed out, doing a half-donut and took off herself in another direction. Intent on taking the long way back to the hotel.

"Okay." Sunny darted out, went over to the bus. "Z! You hear me? Make sure you guys take a different route than Shine and Akira. Get back to the hotel." She saluted and hopped back, going to her and Briggs's car.

"You got it, Mom!" Zavier pulled off in a different direction, the tour bus having impressive speed.

Briggs had already started their car. "Different direction, right? Let's move."

She hopped in, frowning. "Her eyes, Briggs... I'm worried about them."

"I saw 'em, too." His deep frown carried on as they sped off. "...Tell me they didn't remind you of a certain someone."
