He purred. "Okay!"

Trip laughed, putting an arm around his wife. It crushed Nat between him, but he just laughed, comfortable with it. "Dart's asleep on the couch with who I can only assume is my new sister."

Yue giggled. "I can understand Dart asleep in the middle of the day, but with another girl? She must be really something."

"She's really nice!" Nat announced. "But she doesn't know any games!"

Yue gasped. "Oh, no! That won't do! We'll have to teach her."

He purred. "Maybe she'll stay and we can teach her lots."

Trip smiled. He hadn't known many games either after being freed. "Maybe she will."

"But she's sleeping now. Maybe we shouldn't disturb her yet."

"Aww..."

Armande sat on his bed, turning the Akira blade over in his hands, frowning.

"Maybe we can bother the others. C'mon!"

Shine sat beside him, gazing at the blade. It definitely looked intimidating enough. "...Is that it?"

"Okay!" Nat scrambled down and bolted.

Trip took Yue's hand, looked into her eyes. "We'll keep him safe."

He nodded, sighing heavily. "I should have told them the moment it came to me."

She smiled. "You bet we will." She led the way after their son.

She took his spare hand, held it gently. "How could you? This blade... Akira, was it?... It's scary dangerous. It's about as bad as that other blade, Teufel, I think."

He picked her up, playfully slung her over his shoulder and started down the stairs.

"Yes. From what I've gathered... It was created because of the Tuefel."

"Mrow! Hey!" She laughed. "Who said you could get so strong!?"

"That means the curse... Armande, you haven't...?"

"You've never been heavy, Yue." He smiled at her.

"No. I was awakened by my mother screaming often enough to not want the memories the accursed blades bring." He sighed, letting the blade fall. It landed straight up, even though he'd dropped it on its side.

She blushed slightly, smiled back. "You're right. Even when we were kids, you could fly pretty easily with me."

She gasped. "You mean she...!"

"You were good practice." Grinning, he changed his grip on her, pressed her against the wall for a deep kiss.

He sighed. "Around when Aurora and Dart were born, she was in possession of the Tuefel blade. She has the memories embedded within her and, at times, sees ones she never saw when holding the thing. She has said that it's difficult to know at times what is true memory and what is imagination."

She sank in, wrapping her arms around him.

She blinked. "Wait. I thought it only tainted you, if you kill with it. Did she really hold it for so long?"

"Yue." He slid his hands down, laid one on her belly. "I want another baby," he murmured, lips moving against hers.

"I'm not sure. It's not something she likes to discuss." He sighed, turned to look at her. "I'm not certain how any of them will react, knowing I've had this."

She sighed into his mouth, laid a hand over his. "Me, too," she breathed.

"It wouldn't be good. Dad was really concerned, when he found out I had his powers."

Smiling, he gathered her close and spun. "Good."

"I know he was." He laid his hand on her cheek, searching her eyes. "You have have quite a bit of control; he's trained you well."

She laughed happily, glad to be in her husband's arms.

"It's still not enough." A tear crossed her eye. "That event, back on the road... I..."

"Mom! Dad! What's taking so long?!"

"Completely understandable. No one was injured, you got far enough away to ensure that. And taking off after her as he had was, in hindsight, the most idiotic thing he'd done in his life.

He gently brushed the tear away. "We were all affected by her tale."

She smiled at Nat's voice. "Hey, kiddo! What would you think about a little brother or sister?"

She smiled softly, looked up at him. "You, more so. It was kinda stupid, running after me like that. Or, should I say, 'highly illogical'?"

"Right now?!"

Trip's eyes flashed wickedly. Right now worked for him.

"I was worried for you and the fact that I'm still alive proves that it wasn't entirely illogical."

Yue elbowed Trip, though it was hard to hide the own gleam in her eyes. "Well, it's not like magic. But I'd say in about a year, they could be here."

She chuckled. "I guess not. Besides, I'm not complaining with the outcome."

"That long?" he whined and Trip laughed.

"I think he's okay with a brother or sister."

"Both?" he asked, making his father laugh again.

"Me either," he said after a moment.
