Yue smiled back. "Nova managed. So did Elesis. Why not us?"

He laughed, kissing her. "Good point."

Cross sighed, taking a seat on the steps. He glanced over to the large craft not far from his door, and at the humans inside. He sighed, walking over to it. Might as well get this over with. "Hey, Damien. Mind talking for a bit?"

He left to go practice. Everyone did but Briggs, Sol, Pavo, and Dart. Shine and Armande went to his house to get something."

He shook his head, "No matter how many times I hear these stories, they will always get to me. It just gets harder to deal with now that I'm a parent as well."

Akira shuddered, "How can people like this exist?"
