"Oh, HELL no! Those things don't go down easy! The difference between startling them and burning them, is that in one scenario, we have four crazy bitches tearing us apart, and in the other, we have four crazy bitches on fire tearing us apart!"

"Quiet down, dumbshit. Do you wanna have all four of them perfectly fine when they attack us?"

He sighed. "Alright, fine. I guess we got no other choice." Kale brandished his katana. "Let's do it."

Nova rolled his eyes. "Hey, I'm the one doin' all the work. You just cover our asses for 15 seconds. That's how long it takes for them to completely burn out." Taking a few quick breaths, Nova sprang from the corner, and tossed the molotov into the small mob of Witches. Before it hit the ground, he had a thick iron wall safely erected between the two parties.

They screamed as they were set on fire and ran towards the wall, clawing at it. The noise eventually cuts off when the wall is complete.

Unfortunately two more witches come around opposite corners and come running at the group screaming.

"Fuck! Alright, bring it on! One on one, faggot!" Kale charged one of the witches with the katana, charging it so that it visibly sparked and crackled, and brought it slicing through the witch.

Briggs growled at that crazy hedgefox. "Dumbshit..." Making sure his shotgun was pumped, he set himself between the Witch and Nova, who was down from the massive and sudden output of energy, and fired.

Despite their frail appearances, witches are rather durable, especially when startled.

Both were knocked back, Kale's witch temporarily stunned by the electrical current in her body, Briggs's witch though quickly recovered and tackled him, knocked away his shotgun, and went to slashing away at him not too dissimilar to a hunter attack.

"Fuck, man!" Kale recharged the Katana and brought it down on the witch that has pinned down Briggs.

"Shit!" Cruz slashed at the Witch Kale stunned. "Back, you ugly bitch!"

The witch Kale struck let out a screech as the electrical current sent her muscles spasming and fell over off of Briggs, twitching.

The one Cruz attacked finally got its motor abilities back, screamed, and slashed back at him. Lacking any form of self-preservation instincts, it didn't know when to run.

Deja-fuckin'-vu, Briggs grumbled in his mind, and got to his feet, kicking the other Witch off Cruz, and unloading his two pistols on it.

Kale began panting, spent from expending so much electricity. "God damn... Stay down, for fuck's sake!" He began hacking at the Witch that was spasming on the floor, hoping to bring it down for good.

"Well, thanks, but I coulda taken 'er. Ah, fuck it. Let's just get out of this goddamn sewer..."

"Er... Did we just block off our way out?" Kale motioned to the iron wall which Nova had brought up in front of them.

"Yeah. Nova, if you will.... Nova!"

"Yeah, just gimme a sec..." Nova answered finally, slowly making his way to his feet. Recovery was slow, but he was managing. "...Still got that adrenaline, Cruz?"

The two witches were effectively dead along with the witches on the other side improvised wall.

Also on the other side of the improvised wall is an exit to a flood prevention ditch lined with concrete and a set of stairs built into it to allow entry and exit.

"Yup." Cruz said, handing it to him.

"Ugh, god damn," Kale breathed. "Anyone see any electrical outlets? I gotta electrocute myself real quick..."

"Thanks." The wolf injected himself with it, and the next second, he had the wall back down. "Let's get the hell outta here," he said, making his way to the exit.

"Right behind ya," Briggs said, muttering "Fuckin' sewers..." as he followed.

"Finally," the hedgefox groaned.

Cruz followed.

Up the stairs and to the right is a crashed pickup with a pile of ammo in the back.

There are no infected in sight.

Briggs looked up at the pickup, smirked. "Finally, a break. Hey Kale. You can probably pull some juice outta that thing."

"Huh? Oh, cool. Let's see, where's the battery on this thing... Ah, here it is." He removed the battery, licked his fingers, and placed one on each prong of the battery. His face lit up as his arms quivered and sparked, and then were still.
"Alright!" He snapped his fingers and a spark flew, indication enough that it had worked. "Good to go," he announced.
