Zombie Bullshit

Kale's jaw dropped. "Wait, what? They have TANKS? Fuck! How the hell can they drive tanks?!"

"Will you shut the fuck up!?" Briggs commanded in a hushed tone. His ears strained for anything that might have heard them... nothing. "Look, a Tank is one of those super zombies, like the Hunter that jumped you. Big, burly mothafuckas that are about as tough to take down as an actual tank, hence the name."

"Ohh... Well that's still not good," he said, still alarmed but having lowered his voice. "Now, uh, let's see... Which way's Twinkle Park from here?"

"That way," Nova said, pointing in the right direction. "You know, for a war vet, you got a horrible sense of direction. Didn't they teach you orienteering or something?"

The sound of crying is heard, and a Wandering Witch is seen walking down the road towards them. Her depressed sobbing echoing off the empty buildings and landscape.

"Ah, shut up... Wha-Wait, what the fuck is that thing?" he questioned, pointing at the Witch. "Is that... A survivor?"

"Aw, shit..." Briggs cursed again at the sight. "A Wandering Witch. Keep quiet; we'll circle behind her, and I'll finish it."

"What if it attracts more hordes?" Nova asked.

"Would you rather try to fend them and her off?"

"Er, alright, whatever you say..."

The Witch continues on her patch, ignoring the survivors and growing closer, her mutations become more obvious the closer she gets.

"Eurgh, that is definitely not a survivor..." Kale eyed the Infected girl warily. "Just what will it do? It doesn't look too aggressive right now..."

"It's faster than the Hunter that got you earlier. That help enough?" The wolf quietly readied his shotgun, began to circle around to the Witch's back, using the wrecked cars for cover. Nova drew his axe, ready to support his brother.

"I... Uh, right, I'll just stand back..." He drew his favorite pistol, which had a short-range scope on it and fired special, super-conductive bullets.

Once satisfied with his position behind her, he looked at Nova, who nodded to him, as if to say, "Go for it." And he did, half-sprinting cat-like to the Witch. Once practically on top of her, he pulled the trigger... but no shot came. SHIT! he mentally cursed himself. Forgot to re-pump!

Ohh, shit... Kale thought. This ain't gonna end well...

-Briggs has startled the Witch!-

She screamed, spun around, and totally went psycho-bitch on his ass, clawing away at him with her massive claws.

"Whoa, shit!" Kale took careful aim and fired at her, the electrically-charged bullets crackling as they flew through the air.

Using his shotgun, Briggs had pushed her up just in time for the bullet to catch her right in the side of the head. He quickly pushed her convulsing body off him, rolled away. He quickly got to his feet, shotgun once again at the ready, and properly pumped this time. "We gotta go!"

"No shit! You okay?" He made a beeline in the direction of Twinkle Park.

"I'll live!" He responded, rushing after Kale, Nova at his heels. "Nova, start learning to use that thing!"

"Got it!"

-Horde incoming!-

The groans and screams of common infected echoed as they started pouring in behind the group.

"Oh, FUCK! Uh, run or shoot?" Kale glanced over his shoulder nervously as he ran.

"What do you think!?" Briggs demanded, popping the pills he had into his mouth. That should hold him long enough.

"The Park's still too far!" Nova shouted. "We gotta duck down somewhere!"

"You think I don't know that!?" Briggs shouted back, looking around frantically. There had to be a safehouse nearby.... "Shit! I don't know this area!"

At the next corner, they can see writing on the wall that looks like arrows. Beside one of the arrows is 'Safe Room' indicating that they may lead to an active Safe Room.

The seriousness of the situation is increased when a loud roar is heard followed by loud pounding and the survivors can feel the tremors caused by a massive creature approaching at high rate of speed.

-Tank Approaching-

"Oh God! Is that one of those 'Tanks?'"

The good news is that it isn't right on top of them, the bad news is that it just burst through a wall in front of them.
