Zombie Bullshit

"Too bad," the wolf said, not looking up. "You gonna have to wait a minute. I'm Briggs. That's Nova," he added, pointing toward his brother, who'd already gotten to work patching him up with the medkit he carried. "So, when'd you get here?"

"Not too long ago. Stopped for a quick rest. Looks like I'll be waitin' a bit. Ah well, met some other survivors, that's good."

All survivors accounted for plus one extra.

-Begin Act 2-

New Weapon: chainsaw
New Healing Item: Adrenalin

The same weapons from the beginning safe house are on the table, along with the chainsaw. The adrenalin shots are piled up alongside the pain pills on the table as well.

Kale eyed the adrenaline shot curiously. "The hell is that?" he wondered aloud. "Looks like... Heroine?"

A small chunk of chipped concrete falls from the ceiling and hits Kale in the head.

"Ow! Who threw that?"

"No one threw it, you idiot. I guess God was punishing you for the stupid joke." Cruz said, picking up the adrenalin. "This'll do. Everyone gear up, quick-like."

Briggs snickered. "Damn, you are pathetic. How you made it out of boot, I don't know." He restocked on his shotgun ammo, and grabbed a fresh pipe bomb, as well is pills.

"Hey Briggs," Nova said, securing his axe on his belt. "Gimme the sub." He easily caught the weapon, and started loading up, a fresh medkit on his back.

Kale refilled his ammo and opted to take an extra pistol. "I'm choosing to ignore that. Anyway, I'm locked and loaded. We ready?"

"I know I am."

"Yeah, all set," Briggs said.

"Same here," Nova added. "By the way, we know where evac is; anyone know when? Don't wanna be late for the party, right?"

"Don't think they gave that info out. I say we just head there ASAP and hope we're on time."

"Sounds like a plan," Kale agreed.

"Fine, whatever," Nova said with a sigh. "Let's do this."

"Okay, zombie killers," Briggs said, going to the door. "Let's kill some fuckin' zombies." He quickly opened the door, started out, Nova right behind him, both their weapons at the ready.

Cruz followed, cautiously looking aroung.

In the time that they had been there, a lot of the rampaging horde had gone on, comically passing them by. Right now there were about 20 in sight, aimlessly wandering the area.

Nova took a look around. "Hmm... This way," he said quietly, once sure of his sense of direction, and lead the group down the street.

"Right." Kale followed closely behind him.

Cruz nodded and followed.

A small chunk of concrete falls of a wall and hits a common infected on the head, causing it to stumble into the group's path and subsequently notice them, which it then lets off a screech and charges them, causing all the others to notice the group and do the same.

"God dammit, who built this place?!" Kale complained, firing his dual pistols wherever an Infected was visible.

"God damnit..." Cruz muttered, drawing his swords.

Briggs drew his own pistols and got to work as well. "Keep moving! We can't let 'em swarm!"

Nova took trained shots at the infected in his way, continuing to lead them up the street.

-Path split ahead-

Up ahead is an open manhole, offering access to the sewers.

The sewers would make it easier to deal with any swarming infected thanks to the tighter confines, but the problem was that they lacked light and lord knows what could be hiding in them.

Otherwise the group could continue on the street. The street is well-lit and it far easier to see up there, but the downside is that the infected can effectively come from anywhere.
